Tricks of the Trade

I have to share with you one of my very favorite websites.  Cool Mom Picks was founded by real moms who were looking for great new kids' products for their own children.  While they do have advertisers on their site, the products that they "pick" are purely from their own great experience, they are not paid to pick items.  The moms who make the picks do their research, and most are some combination of eco-friendly, fair trade, handmade, and/or produced by small businesses.  Most of all, they are committed to choosing safer products, whether that means lead-free, HFCS-free, etc.  A few of the items are pie-in-the-sky spendy, like what you would buy for your kids if you were say, Angelina Jolie, but many are affordable or even economical for us regular peoples.  CMP pointed me towards many favorite items that the Nugget uses on a daily basis as well as great gift ideas for his friends.  They also usually have some fabulous coupon codes!
