Labor Day Weekend 2016

 Labor Day really snuck up on us this year!  Hubby took the kids to the lake after school for some RC boating on Friday.  

We left for Ohio the next morning at stopped at Great Lakes Science Center on the way to stretch our legs and brains!  We also got to see some of the Cleveland Air Show from the windows and decks of the museum.  The Nugget was obsessed with this wind tunnel.  He also did this "landing the space shuttle" simulation about a dozen times until he mastered it.  All our kids love the Science Center, but the Nugget feels especially drawn to its wonders!

Spork joined us shortly afterwards!

The next day was the baby shower for my sister-in-law, Aunt Panda.  Stuffed pandas abounded, and soon the girls were all wearing them on their heads.

Meanwhile, Daddy, Uncle J, the Nugget, Spork, and Bean were having the last hurrah at the pool for the summer.

We reunited the troops in the afternoon for some downtime, playtime, and pizza.

The following day, we met up with Grammy and Grandpa for a hike.

 The Nugget learned to skip stones!

These two cousins definitely bonded on this trip.

Grandparents plus 5 grandkids....soon to be 6!
