Tater's Princess Party

Princesses aren't really my cup of tea, but Tater will not be persuaded from what she wants.  Still, I was able to avoid the licensed disposable tableware!

Invitation by Paperless Post.

Royal purple tablecloths and flatware from Dollar Tree.

Gold plates and snack cups from Target.

Glitter cups from Target.

Clear acrylic "diamonds" from Papermart.  Originally purchased for Tater's Dance Party 3 years ago.  These could also be used for pirate party, hmmm....

Menu:
SkinnyPop in the gold snack cups
Strawberries - Tater's favorite fruit.  In a crystal dish (I use our wedding crystal gifts as much as possible) on a Dollar Tree mirror.
Rapunzel's Braids - borrowed from this blog
Melted Olafs - borrowed from this blog.  Since we avoid food coloring as much as possible, I subbed out a cut dried apricot for the Mike&Ike nose.  And yes, they are on a silver platter, another wedding gift that we aren't saving but putting to work!
Tiana's Frogs - borrowed from this blog.  Apples, green grapes, toothpicks, and chocolate chips.
Chip's Chips - Tater's favorites are Fritos and plain Lay's.
Princess Cookies - Oreos, dipped in melted white chocolate chips, dyed with natural food colors, and pink sugar.  I left the sugar off of a couple for Spork.

Princess Party Bag favors
3packs of purple paper gift bags and double faced satin ribbon for the bows - Dollar Tree
Snow White's Apples - stress balls from Amazon
Jasmine's beads:  elastic cord from Dollar Tree, beads from Amazon.  BTW, the number of pony beads needed to do a large 7yo's (Spork as model) bracelet is 26.  Extras will go to Tater's hair styling stash.
Tiana's Frogs - Amazon.  Extras will be donated to Spork's school.
Elsa's Snow - marshmallow snowflakes from Home Goods.  Similar ones here.  Extras will go towards a hot cocoa/holiday movie night I have in the works.
Ring Pops - Dollar Tree

If you love party planning and love shopping at Target, here are the things you should definitely snap up when they go into Bullseye's Playground:  large trays, mini cake stands, chalkboards, swizzle sticks (here, they were used for food signs), plastic scoopers, and metallic garland.  I use these over and over again for nearly every party.

Things that should go in your party planning kit:  tape, lighter, candles, extra favors (siblings show up sometimes), cake knife (that's what I forgot this round).

  1. Thanks for sharing the crystal clear glass diamonds from https://www.papermart.com! We just had a party for two of our boys over the weekend. You have everything themed so well! Keep up the great work!
